Emma is now a D1 Freshman playing for Central Connecticut State Blue Devils.   5’8” St. John Vianney 2021– 2 year New Jersey State Champion, New Jersey Defensive Player of the Year.  Tough competitor on both sides of the ball. High IQ in the classroom and on the court as point and guard. Her speed makes her a tough matchup. She has an excellent handle against ball pressure. She changes directions in transition and knows how to find shooters. But more than anything else she has spent 4 seasons at Saint John Vianney HS playing against some of the best D1 guards in the state. She is a gym rat, who has become a excellent three point shooter. She trains against elite competition always. It was outstanding performance vs the loaded D1 players that helped her Jersey Shore Elite team pull of one of the biggest upsets of the summer against the 2021 Shore Shots. Emma Bruen is a must watch player for coaches. She is a gym rat so her development is going to continue to rise.
